This map of coastal Maine and New Hampshire shows the timing and maximum ozone concentrations (in parts per billion (ppb)) measured at several coastal air quality monitoring stations from Rye, NH, to Port Clyde, ME, for a high ozone event on 30 June 1997. This clearly demonstrates the movement of the ozone plume from southwest to northeast on this particular day.
