New England regional precipitation and temperature trends (maps)
New England regional precipitation and temperature trends (maps)
These maps illustrate the linear trend in annual precipitation (inches)
and annual temperature (degrees F) from 1895-2000. The trend was calculated from a linear
regression over the 105 years of record of the annual average temperature and total precipitation
for each climate division.
Click on the division to see a graph of the data and the regression line used in generating
the temperature/precipitation change value.
